I'm often asked if I travel outside of Seward to photograph newborns (either in studio or in home), and my answer is a resounding "yes!" I absolutely love to travel to wherever you are to capture your newborn and family. Baby Kyle was a great example—I was excited to photograph them in their Omaha home once Kyle was born.
Rachel (baby Kyle's mom) is a fantastic home decorator, and it was such a joy to capture their new family of four in such a bright, beautiful space. These serene, classic newborn photos are some of my favorite, and I'm so excited to share them with you!
In all of my Lincoln, Omaha, or Seward newborn photography sessions, I aim to capture the whole story of your newly expanded family. One of my favorite ways to do that is by by capturing lifestyle newborn photos done in home—I really believe there is no better way to see the details that make up your family's story.
For parents Rachel and Mike, big sister Isla, and baby Kyle, their beautiful home was the perfect backdrop for telling their story. Being able to photograph in several locations in-home, including Kyle's nursery, Isla's "big girl room," honors this time in their family's life in a special way.
