Welcome, Baby James! | Nebraska Newborn Session
...and Baby James makes five for one of my very favorite families! I have been honored to photograph this family for several years—starting with their wedding, then though family photos, the birth of sweet M, and now the birth of baby boy J!
When mama Alex told me she was expecting, we planned an in-studio newborn session for baby boy at my studio here in Seward. Here, we were able to capture photos not just of sweet baby James, but of proud big sisters Morgan and Reagan, too! It's important to me that your newborn session not be only focused on baby, but how every member of the family interacts with him or her. (You'll see one of my favorite candids from our shoot below—Reagan hiding in the curtains, because that's what two year olds do!)
This sweet boy slept through about half of his newborn session, and when he woke up, he was AWAKE! He wanted to be held, and thankfully his big sisters had no problem assisting in that department. Isn't his sweet custom beanie sweet? I loved the unique touch it brought to the session—I encourage mamas to plan to bring any sentimental or personalized items with them to our sessions (if they're in studio) or pull them out so we can photograph with them when I'm at your home.
