Mr. & Mrs. Kenow's Family + Faith-Focused Wedding | May 14, 2023
Kaitlyn and Erich's wedding day was an absolute celebration of their love for each other and the Lord. Both families came together to celebrate the couple all weekend, and I was thankful for be part of their special day! Kaitlyn was such a trooper when our normally mild Nebraska spring day turned super hot, and thankfully, we managed to get all of our outdoor group photographs done before it was 100 degrees!
A few aspects of the Kenows' wedding day that I loved:
- Kaitlyn's mom helping her get ready. They took a few moments to themselves at the end of the beginning of the day to button Kaitlyn's stunning wedding gown, and it was touching to have an intimate moment! Kaitlyn, her mom, and her dad also put on special jewelry gifted to her—these sweet moments were some of my favorite to photograph!
- Erich's groomsmen, dad, and future father-in-law all had Star Wars-themed socks! So much fun, and a perfect compliment to their Star Wars entrance at Junto Winery.
- Getting to photograph another wedding with one of my favorite extended families. Erich's family has been such a fun group of people to get to know—in his extended family, I've photographed three weddings, two newborns, countless family sessions, and enjoyed every moment of it. It is such a joy and honor to be part of family's memories, and I'm thankful they have invited me into their lives!
