On a windy day in early March, I met with the Thies family for a short family photo session at Pioneers Park in Lincoln, Nebraska. We took advantage of the very unseasonably warm winter day and got some wonderful photographs for this sweet family to cherish for years to come. I love how they embraced the wild wind and we had some fun playing with it and making great images with mother and daughter. The movement the wind caused resulted in some of my favorite shots—so don't be afraid if the weather isn't "perfect." We'll still get amazing photographs!
